A Secure Environment
Our servers are all housed in an ultra secure location in London, certified
to ISO27001. It’s also one of the few data centres in Europe to have obtained
full PCI compliance for hosting.
The Lateral Payments Solutions platform uses 256-bit SSL encryption
technology to ensure that all data transmission is completely secure. All stored
card data is then encrypted to the highest standards available to ensure
absolute security.
We are very selective in choosing the security products and services we
employ within our network. Anything we introduce is rigorously tested and
acknowledged as the industry leader in its category. Often we adapt the product
in clever ways to make sure it improves our security levels without affecting
how we control our networks. All systems are also updated daily with the latest
security information to keep pace with evolving threats.
Surpassing all Standards
There are a number of worldwide security standards that are used as
benchmarks. These include the OWASP Top Ten, a project set up by the top tier of
security experts from around the world who have shared their expertise to
produce a list of the most critical web application security flaws today. At
Lateral Payments Solutions we use these as a standard, not as a goal.
